Bassman: The Grand Finale I did my last Bash but it finished two hours early and didn’t get to sign out properly... it weren’t how I wanted to end my legacy of Birthday Bash events. I said to Random Concept that I wanted the people to decide on how this plays out.... I wanted 2000 signatures and we got 2160.... Concrete respect to the ravers.. now it’s time for the GRAND FINALE
Statement from Random Concept: We met with Bassman straight after the last Bash and felt extremely disappointed with the way that the last Bash ended the way it did. He didn’t do his final set and sign out properly. At the time there were rumours circulating that a girl had fallen from the balcony, but we later found out that she was on the dancefloor and had passed out. We are thankful that the girl was not seriously hurt. However, this did mean that just before 4am the majority of people were asked to leave the venue for safety reasons and so that medics could attend to the girl. Although the music did continue later, the vibe had gone and the event wasn’t the same afterwards. Before this incident, the vibes were impeccable and the event was going to make the history books! The only way to rectify this situation is to do one last Birthday Bash but Bassman wasn’t 100% convinced and wanted to put it out to the people to see if it’s what they want. He said, If we get at least 2000 names on this petition he will agree to do ONE MORE but this time in O2 Academy so we can fit everybody in! 2106 have let the teacher know so let’s sign out of this properly!
